1. Who we are

AdaptiFit™ (“we,” “our,” “us”) provides an AI-powered fitness and nutrition application available on the web and mobile devices.

2. Data we collect

Health & activity (optional) | Runs, heart-rate, sleep, stress (via Garmin Connect or similar services) | Third-party API after user authorises

3. How we use your data

- Generate and adapt workout and meal plans

- Provide AI coaching responses

- Send progress e‑mails or push notifications (opt‑out anytime)

- Improve and debug the app (aggregated, anonymised analytics)

4. Sharing and third‑party partners

We never sell personal data. We share data only with:

- OpenAI (or equivalent LLM provider) – to generate coaching text (identifiers removed)

- Payment processor (Stripe) – to handle subscriptions (no card details stored by us)

- Analytics – anonymised usage metrics (e.g., Google Analytics)

- Device / activity providers – e.g., Garmin, only after you authorise

5. Data retention

We keep profile and activity data until you delete your account or 24 months of inactivity, whichever occurs first.

6. Security

- TLS encryption in transit

- Encrypted cloud storage (AES‑256 at rest)

- Access limited to authorised staff using multi‑factor authentication

7. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may:

- Request a copy of your data

- Correct or delete data

- Object to certain processing

8. Children

AdaptiFit is not intended for users under 16. We delete any under‑age data on discovery.
